‘PLAY UP’ – SKILL DEVELOPMENT
We have introduced a skill development program where the older players of each division (excluding social modified) can opt to play up a division on a regular basis, allowing our players to develop their netball skills in a more challenging environment. This will also allow a player to play 2 games for the price of one registration! Please note, players MUST continue to play in their lower age division – playing up is an optional extra. Please email for more details. (Please note - this will depend on having enough numbers to go ahead)
What to wear
Players are required to wear a Fassifern Netball Association Uniform
(FNA dress or FNA polo + black bottoms).
These can be ordered/purchased from the duty desk for approx. $40
You will need to bring water also.

Games are played on a Monday from 6.30pm (TBC), 4 x 12 minute quarters, with 1 minute between each quarter.
We run a fun social competition with an A & B division (numbers permitting). Most players are just there for some exercise and to catch up with friends. It's a great way to stay in shape and socialise at the same time.
What to wear:Open teams are responsible for supplying their own uniforms. Full uniform must be worn from week 4 or games onward, point penalties apply if full uniform is not worn.
All teams need to provide their own umpire and canteen duty person for each week.
The Social Walking Netball Division is for everybody, aged 14 and up. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace.
The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level. An essential warm-up session begins at 5.45pm on Mondays. During the warm-up, teams are formed and players bibbed.
Walking Netballers often have long-term injuries or health issues. Participants should feel comfortable to approach the coordinator to discuss health concerns. Game play can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs.
The warm-up is followed by a game of Walking Netball. Games consist of 4 quarters with breaks between quarters. Throughout the game there can be rolling substitutions.
Walking Netball players are very welcome to stay for a chat and a drink after the game. The Ball’n’Whistle Canteen, with an open deck area is available on Monday nights. Registration fees include Netball Queensland’s programming and insurance fees. FNA charge a game fee. Payment of registration fees must be paid prior to the start of the season. Registration is online.
